"Went here right after a hike at Wallace falls, super great and convenient place. Burgers were amazing, super simple, tasty, and had that great grill char broil taste to it. Shakes were great as well, very creamy, and not too sweet. The fries were pretty good, I do wish they were a little thinner, but they were still pretty crispy. I typically don't like beer battered onion rings, but I'd order them every time I go there, satisfying crunch to them, and divine with their house fry sauce. My one very minor complaint is I wish the soda had a bit more syrup to them, it could have been sweeter, but it might have just been the day I went. Overall highly recommend 92/100. Update: Went back a week after another hike at Wallace, the soda tasted great, slightly sweeter than what you'd get from a can or bottle, in my opinion that's my preference on how it should be! It's worth the drive, get over there!"

"Date visited 3/2/2025 Vicks has really good food. The dishes were delicious and the prices were fair. It's a great spot if you're looking for a tasty meal. The only thing to be aware of is that the restroom facilities are outhouses. So, plan accordingly Overall, the food makes it a worthwhile visit."

"Finally made our way up there and got to try this place. It was great. The burgers and pulled pork were so good!! Everything was so fresh and the shakes were great too!! Great place to stop. My kids said 10/10. Highly recommend!! I also had the opportunity to talk with the owners... great people!!"

"Great spot to stop after a ski day! Ordered the El Jefe, chocolate milkshake, fries and a cheeseburger. El Jefe on a gluten free bun was good, and only $1 extra for the bun! The burger was well balanced and the chipotle sauce added a nice kick. The cheese burger was reported to be excellent. The bun was fluffy and delicious. Great sauce, grilled onions. Fries were hot, ranch sauce was really tasty and house made! The shake was nice and thick. Both a drive up and walk up spot. Plenty of parking. Super nice and helpful staff! Can't wait to come back"

"The food here is AMAZING. Do not stop at any of the other places on Hwy 2! This is the only place to go! Excellent burgers, the onion rings were perfect, the shakes delicious! It's easy to miss but hard to forget! Yay for the new sign! The fry sauce is a must-have!@"

The burger with jalapeno exceeded all my expectations!! very tender roast of the cutlet, tender buns, onion, jalapeno and cheese. I regretted that I didn't take something else to try. "Oh how I love thee burger shack. Today, I had. Double cheeseburger, onion rings and a diet coke. The fry sauce and ranch for the onion rings was out of this world and possibly one of 7 culinary wonders of the world. Everything was fresh, and served hot. The service was friendly and casual. I highly recommend this place. I've never had a bad experience there. Don't miss it, it's the best roadside food in the deuce."
